Supply Chain Consulting

Leading the Way
Innovative ideas often arrive from other industries. Our clients leverage our extensive exposure into how supply chains are managed in manufacturing, distribution, telecommunications and utility construction. In some cases, Croft & Associates Supply Chain Consulting has gone one step further and created our own methodologies.
Start with an Assessment
Every company is unique. Our initial assessment aims to fully understand your current state. At the conclusion, Croft & Associates will present a short list of recommendations uniquely prepared to transform your organization’s abilities and performance to:
Integrate sales objectives with inventory planning, replenishment and purchasing functions
Improve KPI within 4 key supply chain categories: customer service levels, forecast accuracy, supplier on-time delivery, and return on inventory investment
Optimize ERP system utilization, without replacement. We have no interest in selling anyone a new ERP system.

DDMRP
Demand Driven Material Requirements Planning (DDMRP) developed by Carol Ptak and Chad Smith of the Demand Driven Institute, is designed to systemically connect market demand to your organization’s priorities. This methodology:
Transcends our conventional thinking and delivers both: increased customer service levels and increased return on inventory investment.
Utilizes easy to understand planning and priority signals of red, yellow, and green buffer zones.
Enables consistent application of executive level inventory investment strategy vs. inconsistent judgement calls by individual inventory planners at the front-line.
Originally designed for manufacturing DDMRP has yet to be discovered by telecommunications, electrical or utility industries, or the wholesale distribution sector at all. Thus, we see enormous potential for early adopters to leverage this methodology as a competitive advantage.
